The Directors, Steve Lacey and Dave Melkman - previously employed by the Wellcome Trust for ten years - have extensive experience of developing medical science content, and web-based systems, tools and products for the international health community.
Steve Lacey
Steve manages the new business and projects (Prince 2 qualified) and specialises in content production, web strategy, interaction design and usability. Steve has a scientific background in infectious disease, and has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the international health community that comes from years of working in this field - it has also proved extremely useful when discussing project expectations and gathering requirements.
Dave Melkman
Dave has over 12 years experience in developing and implementing e-solutions (web and CD-ROM) but now focuses his efforts on developing the blueprints for systems to be built by others. Over-engineered web sites and systems are common place. To combat this Dave specialises in keeping our products simple and usable with end-users always in mind by drawing on his experience in business, systems analysis and usability. He also manages all our software development, runs our training courses, manages accounts and is the first line of support to all our clients.
Russ Urwin
Russ is an IT industry veteran with 10 years of experience working with database driven applications and web technologies. He is a keen proponent of open source technologies particularly those based around Linux, PHP and MYSQL. Russ makes sure that the back-end of our bespoke web sites, databases, content management systems and e-commerce systems are built to the highest possible standards.
